How To Edit Hyperlink In MS Office

Hyperlinks in MS Office

Once a hyperlink is placed in your document, it is not out of the ordinary to periodically change that link somewhere down the road. Fortunately, Microsoft has made this task very easy for us.

Follow the steps below to learn how:

  1. Place your cursor in the hyperlink, display the Insert tab of your Ribbon and in the Links group, click the Hyperlink tool .
  2. Right-click on the hyperlink, choose Hyperlink from the Context menu and select Edit Hyperlink.
  3. The Edit Hyperlink dialog box is now visible. The difference between doing this and actually adding a hyperlink is that all the information in the dialog box is already filled in.

  1. You can now make edits and then click on OK to save your changes.
