Happy Holidays From DCT!

Happy Holidays!

Everyone at Dave’s Computer Tips would like to extend their best wishes to you and yours, and that you enjoy a wonderful and love-filled holiday season.

He had no further intercourse with Spirits, but lived upon the Total Abstinence Principle, ever afterwards; and it was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us! And so, as Tiny Tim observed, God bless Us, Every One! ~ A Christmas Carol

Thank you to our readers, subscribers, and affiliates, “Every One”, for your tremendous support this past year. We couldn’t do it without you.

About the Author

Richard Pedersen

Richard received his first computer, a C-64, in 1982 as a gift and began dabbling in BASIC. He was hooked! His love for computing has led him from the old “XT” boxes to the more modern fare and from clunky 10MB hard drives to smooth and fast modern day SSD drives. He has run BBS services, Fido mail, and even operated his own computer repair business.

  1. Bonjour Mr Pedersen ,

PS I hope I got that right 🙂

  2. I would much prefer you wished everyone Happy Christmas – sick of this political correctness and the try-to-give-no-offence “Happy Holidays”.

It’s Christmas dammit and hope you have a happy one !

    • Hi David,

You don’t sound too merry, but Merry Christmas to you.
(There is a big Merry Christmas banner right at the top of this post.)

  3. Seasons Greetings to All (as to not omit all who suffer though this festive time) 🙂 I do not see Jim’s photo, so is this an error, or has something happened to him, Mindblower!

    • Hi Mindblower,

Quite a while back, Jim made the choice to quit spending so much of his time writing and to do other things instead.
This was a huge loss for DCT and, with any luck, he will submit the occasional article for us all to enjoy.

I stay in touch with Jim from time to time and he is still as feisty as ever. 🙂

      We miss him,
Update: I have reconsidered the omission. In the next view of that “DCT Team” image Jim’s face shall reappear. Whether he writes one article per year, or 50, he is still and always will be a cherished member of DCT.
