Free Games And Special Offers – September 2020

Back in March, I highlighted numerous free games and special offers in Free Games And Special Offers, mainly from Epic Games, and this trend is continuing. This week and available up until Thursday 24th September, the AAA title Watch Dogs 2 is free to keep forever on Epic and you can grab it here at Watch Dogs 2 Free. I had already bought the game through Ubisoft a while back and to say that I was a little miffed to see it free of charge would come across a little entitled on my part, but you get the drift. If you enjoy hacking, escaping from the police in frantic car chases, and solving hacking puzzles, I implore you to grab it. It’s also an insanely beautiful game as these screenshots clearly illustrate.

Other free games from Epic this week include:

  • Football Manager 2020
  • Stick It To The Man
  • Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 — Complete Edition (coming soon)

Special Offers

Many games become available for free, but usually for a limited time and after that, you can usually pick them up for a song.

Far Cry 3 is available from Ubisoft at a 70% discount as well as many of the other Far Cry games from that franchise. Most deals are set for a limited time, but you can be sure they will come around again, if not on special offer but also for free elsewhere. Watch Dogs 2 is a good example, so keep an eye out before spending your cash on a game.

Game price aggregators are also an excellent source for pricing and discovering deals. CheapShark lists most games on special offer and clearly there are too many for me to list here.

Steam regularly has sales going on and at the moment they’re offering a deal on the Resident Evil franchise.

Forza Horizon 3 is being delisted on 27th September and after that date, you will no longer be able to buy it, so head off to Microsoft and grab it at 70% off!

If Battle Royale is your thing, Fortnite, Apex Legends, and many more are completely free to play and you can check them out here on FreeToGame.

Frankly, it’s never been a better time for free games and special offers. Heck, even GTAV was free with Epic a month or so ago and all it takes is keeping an eye out for your favourite games on the sites I’ve listed here and in my previous article.

Happy gaming!

    1. Hi William,

I must take full responsibility for this article being published later than it should have been,
