Could be any one of a dozen or more reasons. How old is the printer?

Hello macker. A silly thought, but have you checked online with HP? They might be able to guide you though all the possible problems. Your statement of "It currently wont print" is imho, much too vague and has countless items to consider.
Not putting you down, but the more information you supply, the easier it is for someone to better assist you. Try and remember, you are there in front of the printer, having experience with it, we are not there, Mindblower!

As Mindblower has said, could be anything, without any hands on access we are working in the dark. That said, 10 years is a very good run for a printer so my guess would be it's died of old age.

What I would try.
1 Make sure there is NOTHING in the print Queue.if so delete all.
2 Unplug from the power, plug back in.
3 Unplug connection at back of printer that goes to PC,plug back in.
4 Update driver.
5 Last resort, Control Panel Devices and Printers,RIGHT click Printer "Remove Device"
Have Printer on,shutdown PC then restart, computer will reinstall it,you might not have to go this far as one of the above should fix it,in my experience anyway.Good luck!

Note: If you try to print and it does not work the worse thing to do is try to print again, because the page in the print queue (Stuck) will stop anything else printing, that`s why is important to clear the print queue (Delete)
