Legal Considerations
To own a streaming recorder that does not “crack” any DRM protection but rather records like Audials is clearly legal under US copyright law.
Additionally, section 1008 of copyright law specifically states that you cannot be sued over music recording.
In addition, copyright expressly allows a certain “fair use” of copyrighted works, the scope of which is, however, clearly limited. But be aware: copyright law clearly does not allow you to “share” or otherwise distribute any recordings. ~ Audials

Thanks for the chance to win some nice software!
I currently use audials 2020. Not a bad software but a bit finicky at times when trying to record the screen. It works poorly with microsoft edge and although tech support is quick to answer queries, they don’t have solutions to problems faced. Hoping the 2022 version has overcome the bugs.
Audials 2020 is great for downloading youtube videos and probably good with netflix and some of the more popular streaming sites that I haven’t tried yet. Screen recording when it works is very good quality.
