How To Format Captions In Word

So, in previous posts, we have covered How To Add Captions, How to Add A Caption to A Floating Object, and How to Update Caption Numbers. In this post, I will tell you how to format captions!

Follow the steps below to learn how:

  • Now that you have presumably added at least one caption to your document, look around and you should see a new style displayed in your style gallery called reasonably enough, Caption
  • To change any formatting of your caption(s) hereafter, simply right-click that style on your gallery and select Modify
  • You can then format the size, color, font size, and any of the other options available to you

Easy peasy!
