Last week, I taught you how to adjust the playback speed of Facebook videos/reels. If you missed that one, you can find it here:
How To Adjust Playback Speed On Facebook
This week I’m leaving the Facebook subject and moving over to Microsoft. Last week I was doing some research on what I wanted to teach and noticed that my Microsoft account image/profile was out of date. I wanted to update the picture to something more fun. After a little bit of research, I found out how you can fix this across your account. Before we get this class started, make sure to check out these other articles:

How To Change Microsoft Account Picture
This will be shown on my Windows 11 Laptop.
Step 1: Once on your Windows computer, look to the bottom right for the Windows icon. You might have it in a different location, but find the Windows Icon. Click it and from the menu find the Settings option. This would be the Gear icon. Click it.

Step 2: On the Settings screen, look to the left menu and find the Accounts option. Click it.

Step 3: After that, you will end up on the Accounts screen. Under the section called Account Settings, you will see Your Info. Click that option.

Step 4: Now that we are on the Accounts – Your info screen, they give you some options under Adjust Your Photo:
- Take a Photo (it will use the camera on your computer)
- Choose a File (This will open the file explorer on your computer)
We want to choose the second option, Choose a file, for this article. Click on it.

Step 5: The File Explorer window will appear, and you will need to find the photo. Once you find the picture you want to use, select it. Now click the Choose Picture button at the bottom.

Step 6: It will automatically change the image across the board. You will see your new image at the top. I even checked Microsoft Word, and it showed my new image at the top too! DONE!

You now know how to change your Microsoft Account image. Time to share your new knowledge with your friends and family.
