How To Find Your Printer IP Address – Quick And Easy

I’m trying to connect my Chromebook to my printer. I need to find my printer’s IP address. Here’s how to find it.

Note: My printer is a Canon TR4720.

In Windows, open “File Explorer”. Scroll down and click on the “Network” section in Explorer. Hopefully, your printer will be listed.

Right-click on your printer name and go to “Properties”.

On the tab that opens, at the bottom, you should see your printer’s “IP address”.

Done.

  1. The Printer I have here, is one that came across on the Mayflower (a Canon MG5320) and does not show up on the Networks. I think it’s because Windows refuses to acknowledge it, maybe for security reasons or something else, but it has worked wirelessly, flawlessly and still does. Of course the pinnacle of Possum Lodge wisdom does say, “If it ain’t broke, you’re not trying!”
Thanks for your Article which is appreciated!
