Yes!! A simple restart is often the simplest fix.
Recent scenario – my computer displayed a black screen. If I peered at it close enough I could see it was on, but nothing would get it back to normal again. Googled lots of complicated solutions. Asked a friend and he told me all about graphics cards. I thought I’d just leave it until the next Microsoft update caused it to fix itself.
After a week and no change, I tried another restart, and now it’s working better than ever before. Not just the black screen, but everything else seems to be running so perfectly it’s just amazing.
