You should know by now that you can use your mouse to select text by holding down your left mouse button and dragging your mouse to make a selection. There is, however, a much quicker method to select text using your mouse.
Follow the steps below to learn how:
- Place your cursor where you would like your selection to begin.
- Move your mouse cursor to where you would like your selection to end.
- Hold down the Shift key as you click once using your left mouse button.
Multiple clicks of the mouse button can also be used to select text. Double-clicking on a word selects a word, and triple-clicking on a word selects the paragraph in which the word occurs.
