Google Reveals 2023 Most Popular Searches

In a recent post, Google revealed the most popular searches for 2023 divided into categories.

2023 Top Movie Searches

Surprisingly, well surprising to me anyway, Barbie tops the list of movie searches during the past year. Oppenheimer, the story of the American scientist’s role in the development of the atomic bomb came in second, followed by Jawan ( no idea on that one), Sound Of Freedom, and John Wick: Chapter 4.

2023 Top TV Show Searches

The Last Of Us, a post-apocalyptical drama staring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey
Wednesday, a spin-off from the Addams family series
Ginny and Georgia, a coming-of-age dramedy
One Piece, a live-action remake of the mythical pirate anime
Kaleidoscope, centers around the largest heist ever attempted with the series spanning 24 years

BOTTOM LINE:

Based on Google’s list of top searches for 2023, it’s clear to me that I need to get out more. 🙂

Hello Jim,
You said “Based on Google’s list of top searches for 2023, it’s clear to me that I need to get out more. “. I’m right there with you.
I did NOT search for Movies, TV shows, Songs, or Games. In the News section, I can relate to the first two – the Israeli war and the Titanic submarine debacle. No other listed category resonated with me.
Maybe we’re dead or old, but certainly, our interests don’t seem to line up with modern trendiness.

Hi guys, I’m devastate by the list of searches. Worldwide Democracies are threatened. Millions of people could starve if Ukrainian grain is blocked. Billions of tons of Ice have… of course I’m speaking to the choir.
I’m a really older than silly Putty but I remember when Friday payday was all that counted in life. I wish that I would have been more involved in my community, politics etc when I was younger. sigh…
