Ok Jim. Got up this morning opened BD and it told me I was logged in. Yep, sometime over night it got straightened out, but you know me. I want more proof, so I uninstalled BD, cleaned up really good and reinstalled it. Login panel showed, logged in, everything went perfect. So either the people at BD or the server corrected the problem. I replied back to Bitdefender support email thanking them for replying and I let them know what happened, I also let them know how poor the forum is when it comes to helping. A happy ending Jim.Well at least until the next problem. Thanks to you and dandl for all your help, and you know I'll be around.

I admire your perseverance Claw.

Sounds to me like BD Free might be one to stay away from.

Jim, I really think BD free is an exceptional product. Relatively light, very responsive and excellent detection. But if there's a problem, don't waste your time going to the Bitdefender Forum, they are totally useless when it comes to quickly responding to your problem. If there's any problem with any of the Bitdefender products, head straight to Bitdefender email support and pick your product and state your problem and your ticket is on the way. It may take a day or two, but when support contacts you they are very thorough on how to correct the matter, and they always follow up later on to check if everything is still in working order. I'll be around. Take care my friend.
