Dear Sirs,
First of all I want to thank you for the fine action.
I use for a long time version Windows 7 PRO and all did not dare to pass on Windows 8 as heard about many defects of this system.
However in Windows 8.1 developers it seems have corrected many problems and it can use.
Unfortunately I did not have a possibility to test it and to learn positive sides, differences of 7 versions from 8 or 8.1.
I will be very glad and grateful, if such possibility thanks to your action is presented to me.
I will attentively watch result of draw and certainly to hope.
Thanks, Faithfully yours.
First thanks for giveaway of Microsoft OS 8.1. I wanted to use this but i can’t afford this because of high rate for a student if i will here that would be happy moment for me, i would like to win this because XP, end support in few days and it would be a amazing choice of upgrade.
I have windows 7 right now ,but they way they are going it will be obsolete soon and could really use the upgrade, thanks
TNX for the give-a-way. While I resisted upgrading my Windows 7 laptop to Windows 8, this will give me the opportunity to give it a try without hurting the bottom line, my pocketbook.
Great give away! My system could do with an OS upgrade!
Thanks for the giveaway pls count me in like to have the OS
This version of Windows I like because it is more beautiful because it has nice large icons and nice colors and what is fast compared to its predecessor.
I’ve been fixing computers for over 15 years now and already I’ve had to clear out a number of Win8 systems. It’s not the operating system, anti-virus, or browser that counts but the person behind the system. My Uncle has had a computer and been online longer than I have yet he barely knows anything more about computing than when he first turned his computer on. And there are a lot more people out there like him. And now every online site seems to be demonizing WinXP re-enforcing the idea that it’s not the user’s responsibility (except for upgrading) to be safe online but the systems. I tempted to say that computer users should have to get a license to use a computer like a drivers license. To prove they can be responsible online. Especially since so many people are posting so many personal details of their lives online under the idea that it will remain private and add in all of the financial data that is changing hands. A recipe for disaster.
I currently using Windows 7 (64bit) on an Acer desktop (I still prefer Desktops). I haven’t yet really warmed up to the concept of Win8 but now Microsoft is making it more friendly for desktop users…we’ll see.
A bit expensive to buy would so like to win this one.
Regards
Thank Davescomputertips for this really GREAT giveaway and this chance to win. I want upgrade my XP to Win8.1. Best Regards.
Windows 8.1 is just what I need for testing with easy2boot!
I would love a copy, this is why I waited to upgrade, wanted something more user friendly.
Great giveaway!
I would like to upgrade my old XP system to new 8.1.
What I’d really like to know — is there a significant (or any) difference under the hood in Win 8.1 vs Win 7? I’m not talking about the eye candy (Live Tiles, et al; these can be fixed, now you don’t even need add-ons for the same). The only reason I would consider changing over from Windows 7 is if Windows 8.1 is more efficient, less resource-hungry, better memory management, etc.
Any thoughts, anyone?
I have yet to make the jump to Win8. Currently using Win7. All the negative comments and I didn’t see the advantage. I’ve been constantly reading articles about the OS including those at DCT. Now we have Win8.1 and it sounds much more intriguing. This would be a great chance to get my Win8.1 feet wet. Thank you for a great giveaway!
У меня установлена Windows 7, но я очень хочу Windows 8.1.
Windows 8.1-отличная операционная система,она однозначно удалась,это круто.
Good afternoon. Heard a lot of good work on the new operating system and would like to try it in action and to compare its performance with Windows 7 by myself. Thank you.
