I installed Ashampoo Anti-Virus 2014 on my Windows 8 machine and I must say I am impressed with it’s simplicity. Being so new, it’s impossible at this time to get a line on overall protection but coming from Ashampoo and including engines from both Emsisoft and Bitdefender, I suspect it may be top notch. Ashampoo Anti-Virus 2014 has already queried a couple of suspect processes on my Windows 8 system which had been previously ignored by Windows Defender, it’s always nice to receive confirmation that your AV is actually on the prowl.
As you can see from the above screenshot, there is nothing complicated about Ashampoo Anti-Virus 2014, it’s simple to install and use, initiating optimum protection right out of the box. Clicking “Analyse” opens up a new window which presents a familiar range of scan options:

I use many Ashampoo Professional products and due to this I have been offered the Anti-Virus programmme at a discounted price, but due to several months left with Kaspersky I have not been in a position to buy at the moment.
Obtaining Ashampoo Anti-Virus with the Emsisoft ( I have their anti-malware ) and BitDefender engines for no cost would have me using it immediately.

Un altro broblema riscontrato e che io l ho testato infiltrando il sistema con un virus test Ashampoo antivirus non se ne accorto proprio,il real-time non l ho blocca.Un altra cosa è troppo grande è 365 mb istallato sul disco.Si deve migliorare cosi potrà diventare un buon antivirus engina.
Any software from Ashampoo is always user friendly and is great value. I have been using Ashampoo products for a number of years and always found them to be light years ahead of the competition.

I´m a bit too careful to install a security software from Ashampoo. The developed a few good tools – but AV? The giveaway is a good opportunity to test the software over a longer period of time on a special dedicated system.
Yeah a new Av can have some problems, but unless we try it we can’t know. So, lets give it a try.
