A couple of day ago we reported on the confusion surrounding Piriform’s change in policy, where an extra ‘Home’ version costing $24.95 has been added to the downloads for products such as CCleaner and Defraggler – see HERE.
We have since received an email response from the Piriform Support team which confirms our initial interpretation; the Free versions remain full featured and identical to the Home versions, except for the additional ‘Priority Support’. Here is a copy of their reply:

- Rapid email response for any queries they have regarding Piriform products.
- Free updates for all Piriform products with direct downloads.
- Access to our knowledgebase for solutions to any technical problem related to Piriform products.
