How To Add A Link To Bookmarks In Word, Outlook

As I told you in a previous post, you can add links to your bookmarks which is a quick and easy way to access them. In this manner, you can quickly and easily move from bookmark to bookmark within the same document.

Follow the steps below to learn how:

  1. Click to select the text or picture you where you would like a hyperlink.
  2. Right-click and then click Hyperlink Hyperlink.
  3. Under Link to, select Place in This Document.
  4. In the list that appears, choose the heading or bookmark that you want to link to.
  5. Click OK.

A bonus is that you can customize the Screen Tip that will appear when you hover your pointer over the hyperlink that you have created.

Simply click ScreenTip, and then key in the text of your choosing.
