Giveaways & Contests Reminder (Week 0921)

Giveaways & Contests

Dave’s Computer Tips is working hard to bring top-quality software to our readers. Please note that none of the upcoming contests and giveaways are etched in stone. Changes may be made to this list at any time. Here’s what’s happening…

Running Now!

Ashampoo Snap 11

Ashampoo has graciously offered our DCT readers a chance to win one of five licenses for their Snap 11 screen/video capture software. These licenses are currently valued at a discounted price of $25.00 (US) at the time of writing. Ashampoo also offers a 10-day trial version (plus 20 days with email registration) so you can try it before you buy it.

“Ashampoo releases their new Snap 11 for screen and video capturing in October 2019. Snap 11 helps visually clarify even complex issues quickly and easily. The newly designed user interface and enhanced handling helps record, edit and share screen contents in resolutions up to 4K. Other new features in addition to the optimized overview are optimized defaults for auto-features and improved sound card access for audio recordings without quality loss.” ~ Ashampoo

This giveaway contest is running now and will end on March 11, 2021. You can read all about it and enter the contest on this Ashampoo Snap 11 Overview & Giveaway page. I have used this program and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Enter to win!

Coming Soon!

Ashampoo AntiSpy Pro

New Program! Ashampoo has kindly offered us five licenses for their new AntiSpy Pro software. At the time of writing, these licenses are valued at $39.99 (US) but are discounted to $29.99. These licenses may each be used on up to 10 PCs per household.

“Windows 10 is known as a telemetry hog for a reason. Telemetry data helps Windows get to know you and your habits better and allows Microsoft to adapt both comfort features and ads to your preferences–unless you put a stop to it! Other programs from Google or search engines like Bing track your every move and collect massive amounts of data for the creation of complex user profiles. Ashampoo® AntiSpy Pro prevents the sending of telemetry data in over 100 places with just one click! Regain control and protect your privacy on Windows 10, Windows 8 and even Windows 7 PCs!” ~ Ashampoo

This giveaway contest is scheduled to begin on Friday, March 12, and will run through March 25, 2021. Add a layer of privacy protection with this program and enter this contest for a chance to win a free copy for yourself!

ASCOMP Synchredible Pro

Our friends at ASCOMP have given us five licenses for their new version 7 Synchredible Professional software. These full version licenses are currently valued at $39.90 (US) each. ASCOM also offers a free version for private personal use.

“Whether it’s an individual file or an entire drive, Synchredible will synchronize, copy and save it for you. A software wizard will assist you to determine jobs that are either pre-scheduled or to be done through a USB connection. This way, you can keep your files in sync automatically!” ~ ASCOMP

This giveaway contest is scheduled to begin on March 26 and will end on April 8, 2021. Anyone who deems a backed-up computer system to be an important protection against data loss will want to enter this contest for a chance to win a free copy of this Synchredible software.

  1. The top black square takes up 2/3 of my monitor. I always read all of your stuff but it is hard to do.

      Hi Jerry,

I am sorry you are having trouble. I don’t know what “black square” you might be talking about. Would send a screenshot, please? Which browser do you use? What is your screen resolution?

      Thanks,
      Richard

      1. Sorry to butt in Richard. Believe Jerry is referring to the Black Rectangle which has Daves Computer Tips in the upper right and Home, Daily Giveway, etc. tabs, in the row below, Mindblower!

I don’t see this as “butting in”. I see it as a helpful gesture.
That menu you are referring to is only supposed to take up two rows of screen space. That’s why a screenshot would be so helpful.

          Thanks for the help!
          Richard
