Windows 7

At this point I am (not very gracefully) sliding from XP to Windows 7. I like XP and it is pretty much glitch free.

Recently I purchased 3 licensed copies of 7 at a very reasonable price from Microsoft, which will probably increase my "slide".

This website has a great deal of information about 7 scattered through out and an ever increasing number of articles on 8, which is not even on the horizon for me.

My question is this, once I bite the bullet and move into Windows 7, I will want to read these articles on 7. Is there some way you could compartmentalize all 7 articles in one area?

Thanks

Kestel

I seem to have two identities here (Kestrel & Erikson). How can I use just Kestrel. There is a neat story as to why I like Kestrel so that would be my preference, if possible. As a matter of fact, I sent you (Jim) an email today (re: ghostery) and used "Bill". How can I just Kestrel without too much trouble?

Hi Kestrel - Yep, got your email... thanks.

Why not just always log-in with your 'Kestrel' ID. That would be the simplest way.

I'm sure you won't regret moving from XP to Windows 7, Win7 is a very good OS, responsive and stable.

To access all Win7 articles in one place, all you need do is go to the 'Post Categories' section in the navigation panel, click to open the 'Select Category' dropdown menu, and select 'Windows 7'.

I also have a quite good Windows 7 guide in PDF format I could send to you as an email attachment, if you'd like?

Cheers... Jim

Although the look of Windows 7 may seem to be nothing more than some polish applied liberally to the Vista Aero theme, make no mistake: this is a full replacement operating system, and more than just "Vista done right." From driver support to multitouch groundwork for the future, from better battery management to the most user-friendly interface Microsoft has ever had, Windows 7 is hardly half-baked.
