I ran a freeware program called SysGauge on my old satelite laptop and it came back with a read out that I do not understand.
It shows a few "warning" alerts but I have no idea what they mean or how to fix the problems. Can someone give me some advice as to what to do about the "warning" alerts?

Hi Myles,

"Handles" are an abstract concept and can be difficult to understand if you're not a programmer. SysGauge is reporting high handle counts when, in fact, the number of handles is well below the 10,000 limit per process.

If you would like to read more than you care to know about "handles", run a search for "too many computer handles" using your favorite search engine.

HTH,
Richard
