Hi
I am using an HP Pavilion laptop. A window keeps opening that says "Low disk space. You are running out of disk space on HP tools (e). Click here to see if you can free space on this drive."

When I go to control panel>Backup and restore>Backup
and click on either Manage space or Change settings, nothing happens. I can't access either so I can't fix the Low disk space problem. Can someone help me? Please?Smile

Hi,

We'd love to help you. A few questions first...What Operating system are you using? What else have you tried to resolve this issue?

If you are using Windows 7 go to this link for Instructions for what to do: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03736755&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en

We are here for you and will do our best to help you.

Thanks for the encouraging reply. I'm using Windows 7 on my HP Pavilion g7-1277dx Notebook PC. I have attached a copy of my disk drives. After posting my initial question, I discovered that I wasn't supposed to be saving ANY files to the HP_Tools partition. As a novice, I read just enough to be thoroughly confused about the difference between backup, restore, and recovery, where they are stored, and what they are used for. Can you direct me to any really basic information on this? Thanks.
