I have made sure One Drive is not collecting information on my personal (not the MS account, since I never go there!), but today when I was looking for a file using the search tool in MS 11, the file was found NOT where I thought I had put it but under a One Drive folder!!! I even deleted OneDrive program from my computer. I am more than a little frustrated at Microsoft's invasion of privacy and its "Big Brother" procedures. How can I prevent this type of thing happening?

Hello and welcome Sunnysewsit. There is a program mentioned here on DCT which I recommend and use called Winhance. It allows you to tame many Windows settings. There is a video, which new users must view at least once (20 to 30 min) is ideal. Once you use it on a regular basics (it does get updated), you receive many more options, so it can be overwhelming the first few times. Do let me know if it helped you out, Mindblower!
