When I copy files from one folder to another and there is a duplicate file in the destination folder Windows will open a notification window asking what I would like to to do (skip or replace).

The problem is this notification window no longer comes to the front so I end up waiting not knowing there is a question pending. How do I get notifications like this to show?

Hi Tom,

I've run into this problem with other program notifications as well. This seems to be a relatively recent bug in Windows.

My only solution is to keep the main program window small enough that when the notification does pop up, you will see at least part of it. The other option is keep an eye on the Task Bar.

I know this is a pain in the neck, but until MS fixes it, we'll have to deal with.

Hope this helps,
Richard
