Hi folks
Got great help from you in the past. Can you help with the message I get in Win 10 when I try to use the update facility from settings. The message simply says We couldn’t connect to the update service in Win 10. Very grateful for any help you can give. Thanks so much.
Kind regards
Rev Gerald Rodgers

Hi, grodgers,
Reason #1: The Windows update service was down for a few hours.
Reason#2: The latest update borks the update service. Use a different DNS to fix it.
I only read about this fix yesterday. Hope this helps,
Richard

Seems like MS is having problems. I've seen that too on a machine running 1803. Though 1809 seems to work (for now).
