Do not know what that is, but it sure is not a window, like in W10. The whole desktop has been revamped
and it does have a slightly different layout than W10. Kinda of reminds of the Linux Deepin desktop. Either
Windows is stealing from Mac or Linux for some of their OS designs.
Will not dare put this on real hardware, but I see no harm in Virtualbox. I was able to activate with an old
W8 product key I had.
Thanks to Terry Hollett for this article https://davescomputertips.com/how-to-install-windows-11-on-unsupported-hardware/ for the ISO download, I have no idea if it is different from the MS ISO download with the media creation
tool, it did activate so I guess it isn't pirated.
Under system info it is showing secure boot being disabled and tpm is not working, secure boot has never been
enabled and I could care less about tpm.
Hey Daniel,
The Windows 11 ISO that is downloaded as per the instructions in Terry's article is the official Insider Preview build downloaded via Windows Update server.
There is no official Windows 11 ISO available via the Media Creation Tool as it is not yet available for general download, only for Insiders.
Hope that clarifies for you.
