Word 2010 will not print black text but printer will do so when printing web pages. Printer will also print black text when using the copying facility.

Hi Rode - And welcome to the forum.
Not quite sure I am getting your drift. When you say "Word 2010 will not print black text"... does that mean you cannot type black text into a Word document, or you are typing in black text but the printer either will not print it at all or is printing in a different color?
As far as I know there are no print color options associated with Word, that is all controlled by the printer settings.
If you could perhaps clarify a little, take us through exactly what it is you are trying to do?
Cheers... Jim

I had a similar situation. My printer is part of our local network (four computers). I solved it by uninstalling all drivers on the problem machine and re-installing then making sure that the networked printer was set to default.
