JUst noticed that M$ is NOT supplying prober d/l update solutions to this dated product. Guess XP, 2003, and the famous 2007 are all M$ wants to handle. By support, I mean one must fumble in the dark to fins what patches are required alfter a new install. Snicker, snicker, Mindblower!

Hey MB - The only answers I can locate on the web are just full of derision and sarcasm...one poster suggested that official support for this product ceased around 1800 years ago. I guess it is safe to assume this product is no longer supported by M$.

cheers mate ....JIM

Okay, the jokes on me. It's 2000 (two thousand) and not 200 (two hundred). Funny thing being it took like forever to notice the error , Mindblower!

LOL...never mind MB...it was, after all, only one little zero.

we all know that 0's are insignificant. which is why i'm petitioning my employer to add an extra one to the end of the number on my paycheck.

I take it all back.[/size:lyx86uvd]
[b:lyx86uvd]Microsoft does still offer support for Office 2000 [/b:lyx86uvd](that's two thousand). [/size:lyx86uvd]
This is how I found the links. When you enter the Office update section, you're supposed to be current with the latest version. On the left side, click onto the version you want (in my case 2000). Then on the right side, just below the Click for MS updates, you'll see Office Update: ...... This is what you click, accept to get the ActiveX, and you'll see what updates you require. A little detective work sometimes hits the spot.

Hats off to M$ who still support their older versions, Mindblower!
