Desktop.
Would buy a netbook (with XP), if I knew it would make a decent eBook reader using the various Windows programs for the main eBook formats - there simply isn't a dedicated eBook reader appliance which covers all the formats I need to view my eBooks (i.e. Microsoft Reader, mobipocket, eReader, Adobe digital editions, Sony lrf; most do have the basic text, rtf, doc, html and pdf).
