Sorry GTGT...no can do.

I did put the closing date in caps in the initial post.

A lot of these special offers are time limited, you need to keep a close eye on this section so you don't miss any.

Cheers....Jim

Hi Jim,

Out of curiosity, what makes this particular YouTube Downloader worth trying to get it for free, when there are so many free programs that do the job?

I'm not much of a YouTube person, basically follow links to videos on things I'm interested in, so obviously I didn't get this one.

Quite frankly FD, I wouldn't have a clue! I am not a YouTube downloader and I don't test any of these products. Neither am I making any comparisons or recommendations. The criteria for posting information about these 'special' offers is that the software must be; the full latest version of a genuine commercial product with no limitations or missing features. I hunt them down and if they meet that criteria I post about them.....the final decision is then down to the individual.

Same here FD. And if I was going to download videos from the net I certainly would not install one of these types of applications. I would use either VideoCacheView from Nirsoft (free and portable) or an add-on in Firefox called Video DownloadHelper (which is also free and will download anything from anywhere).

When we first started this section I found myself unconsciously acting as a kind of censor for products, dismissing any which I did not deem worthy. I quickly realised that was entirely the wrong approach; it is not my place to be judging them. We are all different with differing interests....one man's meat is another man's poison (so to speak).

So now I just put them out there and leave the final decision up to the individual. Some products might not have universal appeal but I figure if just one of our members gains some benefit/enjoyment and saves some hard-earned at the same time...that can only be a good thing.

Cheers.....Jim
