Hi All - Has anyone had any experience with this relatively new browser called Pale Moon? The home page says Pale Moon is Firefox optimized for maximum speed:
[quote:1uflsiek]Pale Moon project: Custom-built and optimized Firefox browsers for Windows Operating Systems. Make sure to get the most speed out of your browser! The Pale Moon browser is extremely close to Firefox, but does not include all the functions that Firefox has. A few carefully selected features, that are not in high demand, have been disabled. The missing features do not interfere with the way web pages are displayed or function; all to maximize speed and efficiency of the browser.[/quote:1uflsiek]
I am keen to give this a try but would like to sound it out first, any information would be appreciated. Pale Moon home page [url=http://www.palemoon.org/:1uflsiek]HERE[/url:1uflsiek].

Hi ozbloke, I installed Palle Moon hoping that I will save some memory. My task manager shows a lot more memory consumption for this browser than Firefox and IE. Have you checked this already? I do not see any improvements in speed so far. All other thinks about this browser seems to work as described by the home page.
Hey coolczone - Thanks for the information...much appreciated!!
I downloaded the execute file but haven't installed it yet. I was hoping to gather some user input first (from people who have been using the browser) so I could weigh up the positives and negatives before proceeding.
I'll give it a few more days and then install Pale Moon and take a look at it myself.
Thanks again,
Jim
