You will undoubtedly all be familiar with online backup/data storage facilities, but what you may not be aware of is that CrashPlan is the leading light in this field. CrashPlan offers a terrific range of features and options plus great value for money.

CrashPlan[/url:2wmm0ndg] starts off with a modest free version which is available to everyone but, courtesy of CrashPlan's generosity, Daves Computer Tips members now have the chance of winning CrashPlan+ Unlimited for a full 12 months. This service would normally cost $49.99 but you can win one of the five available for free by simply submitting a reply to this thread...[b:2wmm0ndg]Thank You CrashPlan!!![/b:2wmm0ndg] [/size:2wmm0ndg]

[u:2wmm0ndg]PRIZES[/u:2wmm0ndg]: 5 x CrashPlan+ Unlimited - One year absolutely FREE.
[u:2wmm0ndg]VALUE[/u:2wmm0ndg]: $49.99 each / Total value $250.00

[i:2wmm0ndg]"CrashPlan+ gives you all the protection of CrashPlan, plus the added benefit of secure cloud storage to CrashPlan Central for your personal files and features like continuous, minute-by-minute backup.

Multiple backup sets let you back up different groups of files to different destinations with different settings, so you can back up personal files to the cloud and non-personal files everywhere else. In addition, CrashPlan+ features expanded controls for managing your backups and your files are secured with even stronger 448-bit encryption.

CrashPlan Central is the cloud backup destination for CrashPlan+, providing online storage for your personal files in our secure data centers located around the world. It is instantly available as a backup destination after you install, and is available 24/7 for backing up and restoring files." [/i:2wmm0ndg]

[b:2wmm0ndg][u:2wmm0ndg]Automatic Protection[/u:2wmm0ndg][/b:2wmm0ndg]:
CrashPlan backup happens all by itself. Nothing to remember. No annoying popups. If backup is interrupted, CrashPlan automatically resumes when computers become available again.

[b:2wmm0ndg][u:2wmm0ndg]Continuous Backup[/u:2wmm0ndg][/b:2wmm0ndg]:
With CrashPlan+ you can specify that backups take place as often as once a minute.

[b:2wmm0ndg][u:2wmm0ndg]Unlimited File Size[/u:2wmm0ndg][/b:2wmm0ndg]:
Some backup services limit the size of files you can back up. CrashPlan has no restriction on file sizes.

I've been looking for a good backup program - this might be it. [I usually backup manually once a week].

We want CrashPlan

Wow, i see you are still using or pushing smilies... Isn't that a few generations behind where we are these days?

We don't know anybody who uses smilies... maybe we are too far away from the "normal" population
