10 Best Free VPN Software for your Windows PC
How good or otherwise these are? Have no experience of them. Please demysify.

Hello shobha. Those free vpn's (without looking at them) offer you a chance to try and compare without paying for any usage. You might be limited to a daily cap and/or not all features are enabled, so-on. They should be safe to use, but it depends on what you want a vpn to do. If blocking your real ip while you surfing the Internet is all you want (so you do not get tracked), then this should be okay.
Do read the information each provides. My question is what would you be doing with a vpn, Mindblower!

That is why some people seem bright until you hear them speak"
I second Mindblower's comments. Most free VPNs are severely limited in one way or another. The best I've come across so far is Proton Free VPN. Check out this article: https://davescomputertips.com/proton-free-vpn-review/
