Some shoppers are worried that the activation code might have expired, as on the package it shows an expiration date. Worry not. I have used Kaspersky products with listed expired dates on the packages without any problems for several years. This is one reason you should receive the package with the activation code, to verify it was not entered before, especially when purchasing the software online.

Also, if you have an existing Kaspersky product, you can enter the new activation code right away, and it will automatically begin when the old code expires, providing you are replacing the same Kaspersky software. In my case, it is KIS (Kaspersky Internet Security)

I believe expiration dates are marked for marketing purposes, Mindblower!
