I have a question? I am running a Pentium Dual Core 3.20GHz E6700 socket 775 in this computer I built for my wife a few years ago. At that time this was the cheapest and fastest Intel Processor I could find and afford. Since then the cost of the refurbished Core 2 Duo and the Core 2 Quad are within reason. Would this computer benefit from a processor upgrade? Daniel.

Thanks David for your reply, not for sure if the Intel DP43BF Mobo will even support an SSD. This computer has 2 500 GB hard drives with 64bit Windows 8.1 on one and 32bit Vista on the other one. Windows 8.1 runs fine but Vista sometimes is slow to respond and this is where my wife uses the MS office software. Just thought a processor upgrade might perk Vista up a little. Marc and I have discussed this a little over in his retro forum. Daniel.
