Aimersoft DVD Ripper

aimersoft dvd ripper - intro

Aimersoft DVD Ripper is an outstanding product to backup and/or rip DVDs to various formats, including support for a multitude of different devices. And the best part, it is all so very simple, even for the most inexperienced user.

aimersoft dvd ripper - main interface

Step 1) Place a DVD into the optical drive and click on the “Load DVD” button (I chose a bought DVD with a run time of just under 2 hours):

Step 2) Select one of the preset profiles or a common format from the multitude of options (I chose the iPad preset)

Step 3) Adjusting settings – is purely optional. Presets are designed for optimum results and less experienced users can skip this step. Advanced users may like to take advantage of the options available here though via clicking on the ‘Settings’ button.

Step 4) Click the Start button – and Aimersoft DVD Ripper does its thing.

Time to completion for this operation took 46 minutes which, considering it required a complete re-encode from VOB (weighing in at around 6GB) to just 1.64GB MP4, is pretty darn slick. I’m happy to report that the output file played perfectly on the wife’s iPad with excellent quality and all in perfect sync.

Aimersoft DVD Ripper also provides a number of very useful editing features, including; Trim, Merge, Personalized Watermarking, Special Effects, and support for adding Subtitles.

  1. Aimersoft definitely has very good quality. I would love to have this software again, as my previous version is on a dead hard drive. I miss it!

Good luck to 10 of us!

  2. Aimersoft creates some superior conversion software. I would appreciate being considered for one of the licenses being offered to subscribers to DCT. Thank you very much.

  3. Have other software from them. Good quality for a nice price. Thanks for the chance to use this product.

  4. The Aimersoft DVD Ripper is an incredibly versatile facility for anyone wishing to make copies of their DVd’s for viewing on a variety of equipment other that the home DVD player.
I am unlikely to use it frequently enough to justify purchasing a licence, but I sure could make plenty of use of a free licence.
    Great product Aimersoft.

  5. G’Day,

Not sure if this has gone through twice, if so sorry.
Have just had a rival brand ripper deregister on me so this giveaway comes at an opertune time. Please count me in.

    Good luck to all.

  6. Many of these types of applications can be complex and have limitations requiring one or more applications to get the results I need. Have not heard of this product but keen to have a look at it

  7. I would be pleased to add the Aimersoft DVD Ripper to my toolbox as my hobby is Audio/Video production.

    Thank you for the opportunity.
