Clive lives on the Gower Peninsular in South Wales UK and retired from Swansea University after 17 years as eLearning Manager. There he introduced the University's first Virtual Learning System (Blackboard). which become the de-facto method of distributing materials to students as well as collecting and marking their assignments through an online service (Turnitin). Prior to joining the University he took an early retirement as Personnel Manager for the Wales office of the Advisory Conciliation and Arbitration Service. It was in his time at ACAS that his interests in computing began in the late 80's when received DOS training as ACAS began embracing computer technology. He purchased his first computer, an Acorn Electron, shortly thereafter and was hooked. While not a technician by trade he has built many computers and enjoys finding new software.
