Show Only The Channels You’re Subscribed To – TiVo

You are scrolling through your onscreen channel guide and wondering exactly what channels you have – three ways to know:

1. You can painstakingly go through the channel guide and write down all the channels. Did I do it? I cannot answer that on the basis that I might incriminate myself. 🙂

2. With our TiVo service, in the channel listings, the channels we have are listed in white letters, and the channels we don’t have are listed in grey.

3. I don’t know if this applies to all TiVo services, but we now have a new feature where we can hide the channels that we don’t subscribe to.

Open up the guide by pressing the “Guide” button on the remote. Then hold the “OK” button until the following menu appears:

Use the arrow keys (menu navigation, around the “OK”) and highlight “Set Channel & Guide Options”. Then press OK on the remote.

On the next screen, scroll down to the Channels option; by default, it’s set to “All”. Set it to “Subscribed”. You could also add your channel to the favourites list by selecting “Add to Favourite Channels” and then set the Channels to show only “Favourites”.

Now scroll up to the line “View guide with these options”. Press OK. That saves your choices. Now, on the guide, you will only see the channels you subscribed to or your favourites, depending on your personalized settings.

My question now is, do you have TiVo? Do you have these options? Answer in the comments.
