Mastering Linked Notes And Files In OneNote

Now I know that there is not a huge demand for OneNote information, but there are still some folks out there who use it regularly, and so I want to be able to help them as well.

Follow the steps below to learn how:

  1. Open your page with linked notes.
  2. Click Linked Notes in the upper left-hand corner of your page and select Linked Files.
  3. Read your list of files and pages linked to your OneNote page on the sub-menu. You can then click a file on that list to open it.
  4. Hover your pointer over your notes to see which are linked to files. Icons will appear to the left of your notes.
  5. Hover your pointer over an icon to see a document snippet or thumpage thumbnail that indicates what your file is.
  6. Click an icon to open the file or page within which your note is linked.

Easy peasy!
