Well, here I am again. I have been learning so many things about my Apple Watch! It really is amazing what these things can do! I have to say, for an older person, I find that I can use many of these things, and I love the simplicity and helpfulness! Another great thing about this watch is that it greatly lowers the texts and phone calls to my daughter asking her how to do something. So let me share some of my learned wisdom with you!
First, let’s figure out how to pair your Phone with your iPhone. Relax, it really is very easy!
- To set up your Apple Watch, place it on your wrist and make sure it is snug. Now, press and hold the side button. This will turn it on.
- Now bring your iPhone close to your watch.
- All that is left now is for you to follow the instructions that will appear on your screen!
I told you it was easy, didn’t I?
Ok, now we can move on to the cooler and more helpful things that you can and sometimes should be using.
Were you even aware that your watch could track important health information? I know! It surprised me as well.
Believe it or not, your Watch can actually assist you in meeting your sleep goals. I was shocked to learn that it can also track important information related to your heart, log your medications, and even encourage you to wash your hands!
Let’s start with Sleep, shall we?
This may blow your mind a bit, but with the Sleep app on your watch, you can create your very own sleep schedule, set the sleep duration goal, and even review your recent sleep history. You can even see estimates of how much time you spent in REM, Core, or Deep sleep, and when you woke up.
While you sleep, your watch will also track metrics (i.e., blood oxygen, heart rate, time asleep, respiratory rate, and, on the Series 8 watch, wrist temperature.
- To get started, just open the Sleep app on your watch and follow the instructions that appear
- Now wear your watch to bed, and your watch will do the rest
