I wrote an article a while back on how you could manage saved eBay sellers. After writing that, I created the How-to video for our YouTube channel. Here are links to both if you are interested in checking them out:

- YouTube Video – How To Manage Saves eBay Sellers
Recently I had a comment that mentioned the video was outdated due to eBay updating this option. They said the deleted option was no longer available. If you know me, I never like to be outdated so I thought it would be a good idea to update all of you on the new way you can manage those saved eBay sellers. With many people still using eBay, it is always good to know how you can add sellers you like and how to remove them from that list. Time to open up our eBay accounts and learn some new tricks.
How To Manage Saved eBay Sellers (Updated)
In this updated article I will show you how to do this on the eBay website.
Step 1: Head on over to eBay.com and Sign in to your account. To do this look to the top left and click sign in.
Step 2: After you are signed in, look to the top right and hover your mouse over the My eBay link. This will bring up a drop-down menu. On that menu, click on Saved Sellers. You can get to the next screen other ways but this is the quickest.
Step 3: Now we are looking at our Saved Sellers screen. If you read my last article, you can see they have updated this area which I think was needed. We will use the first seller on my list as an example. The first thing to do is click the 3 dots in that seller box.
Step 4: On the menu that appears, you are given some choices:
- View Profile (takes you to their eBay page where it shows what they have for sale, their Bio, and their Feedback score)
- Contact Seller (exactly what it says)
- Subscribe to newsletter (if you would like to receive their email)
- Add note to self (this is nice if you want to say, “Great place for NES games”)
The update has brought the Newsletter option in and removed the delete option. The Newsletter used to be on another screen and the delete option was front and center. Choose which option you want by clicking on it. This is what the menu has on your saved Sellers.
Step 5: Looking over to the right of the seller’s profile pic you will sometimes see the option to Visit Store. Not everyone who sells on eBay has a store but if they do, it will appear here. Click it if you wish. Time to talk about the missing Delete option.
Step 6: They decided to remove the delete link on this page. But it is still available under a different look. That heart that you see next to your saved seller is the “remove from list” option (technically it is delete). Click that heart and it will remove/delete them from your list. That is it, plain and simple.
Step 7: The final option that I found on this screen is how to sort. They give you two ways to sort your list:
- Date Added
- By Name
I think the one I will use most is Date Added. Select one and it will sort them that way. DONE!
Now you know how to do this on eBay again. Last time, I showed you all a bonus step. Guess it would be smart to share that tip again here.
Bonus Step: Adding a new Seller to list
If you want to easily add a seller to your list, then this is how it is done.
Go to a product the seller has listed. On the product page, look to the right of the Add to cart button. You will see a heart that says “Save this seller”. Click the heart. Done!
Time to get out there and manage those lists.

The option you mention above, The final option that I found on this screen is how to sort. They give you two ways to sort your list:
Date Added
By Name
does not work and has not since Ebay created this new format. I have mentioned this twice to Ebay, but of course they do not care and have not responded.
Sorry, what does not work is the”By name” sort.
Hi Gary,
Does it even show the option for you? Or does it not sort it when you select it? I decided to try this on some other browsers (Chrome, Firefox and Edge) using my laptop and it worked for me. Did you try it on any other browsers. You might clear your cookies out on your browser since that can cause these issues sometimes. eBay is not that great at getting back to people. Trouble shooting is so much fun. Hope this helps.
So the heart button is the remove? Smart
I thought the same thing. Smart way to unfollow a eBay seller. Click the heart
