As promised in an earlier post, today I will discuss editing or changing your iPad Lock Screen. It is amazing what you can do with these lovely little pieces of technology!
Yes, after you have created your custom Lock Screen, you can absolutely make changes to it.
Follow the steps below to learn how:
- Touch and hold your Lock Screen until Customize appears at the bottom of your screen.
- If it does not appear, touch and hold your Lock Screen again and then enter your passcode.
- Swipe to the screen you would like to change, tap Customize, and then tap Lock Screen.
- Tap the time to change the font, color, and style.
- Tap either Add or Done and then tap Set as Wallpaper, Pair, or Customize Home Screen.
You can also create multiple custom Lock Screens and switch them back and forth during your day.
Follow the steps below to learn how:
- Touch and hold your Lock Screen until the Customize button appears at the bottom of your screen.
- Swipe to the Lock Screen you would like to use and tap it.
- Caveat: If your Lock Screen links to a specific Focus, switching from that Lock Screen to another will allow you to switch your Focus.
- You can also Delete a Lock Screen that you no longer want.
Follow the steps below to learn how:
- Touch and hold your Lock Screen until the Customize button appears at the bottom of your screen.
- Swipe to go to the Lock Screen you would like to delete.
- Swipe up on your screen and tap the trashcan icon.
- Tap Delete This Wallpaper.
You can even switch your Lock Screen automatically by linking a Lock Screen to a Focus and then switching to that Focus, which can also be automated!
