How To Clear TikTok Watch History

As you may know, I have two TikTok accounts – one for comedy and one for gaming fun. If you would like to check them out, here they are:

With many apps, they like to update features and settings every so often. This time they made it easier to clear your Watch history. Yep, that is right. You can clear that watch history easier now and I want to share this knowledge with all of you. Now that you have all that knowledge, let us dive into this new lesson. When using this app, your account saves all the videos you have watched in a Watch history. This is exactly what other apps do, like YouTube. I will show you how you can clear the entire history or specific ones you would like to remove. For whatever reason you want to do this, we are going to teach you how. Time to pull out those mobile devices and get this class started.

How To Clear TikTok Watch History

This will be shown on my Motorola Edge Android Phone using the TikTok app.

Step 1: Find the app on your mobile device and tap it.

Step 2: Once on TikTok, look to the bottom right and you will see the Profile option. Tap it.

Step 3: On the profile screen look to the top right. Tap the 3 horizontal lines to pull up the menu.

Step 4: In the menu that appears at the bottom, look for Settings and privacy. Tap it.

Step 5: In the section called Content & Display, find the Activity center link. Tap it.

Step 6: On the Activity Center screen you are given three options:

• Watch history
• Comment history
• Search History

For this article, we will want to tap on Watch history.

Step 7: On the next screen you will see all the videos you have watched. At the top right, you will see Select. Tap that.

Step 8: This will give you the option to select the video from your history that you want to delete. Yes, you might only want to delete certain ones and here you can do that. Tap the circle at the top right on each video to select it.

Step 9: After you have selected all the videos, look to the bottom right. There is a Delete button that shows how many you selected. Tap it if you are ready to delete your selections. You can also delete the entire history by looking to the bottom left and tapping on the option “Select all watch history.” Whichever one you choose, tap Delete when you are ready.

Step 10: One last screen will appear to confirm you want to delete this history.

Delete selected watch history: This will delete the selected watch history permanently. We’ll continue to keep our watch history data for some time to optimize your experience on TikTok.

All you need to do now is tap Delete. Done…

You now know how to clean up your Watch history on the app. Time to take your new knowledge and share it with the world.
