We all love to play games with our friends, but sometimes it would be nice to log on to your Xbox One Live account and not be noticed. You might want some gaming time alone where you can relax and not get a bunch of game invites or messages. There is a way you can make yourself appear offline to all those other gamers. That is what I’m going to show you how to do today. It never hurts to have some “Me Time” even when you are gaming. Now sit back, and get ready to learn how to disappear.
How To Appear Offline On Xbox One
Step 1: Log in to your Xbox One Live account.
Step 2: At the top of the screen, after you’ve logged in, select your Profile image at the top-left.
Step 3: My system automatically appears on the Home option which is the middle Xbox icon on the top Menu. You will want to move all the way to the left. This again will be highlighting your Profile image. Once there, select your Profile.
Step 4: Here you can access your profile settings like memberships, account information and, of course, appearance. What we want to do is change how we appear to others online. To do this, move down until you are on the Appear online option. Press the “A” button on your controller to open the menu.
Step 5: This will bring up a menu with three options. Choose the one that says Appear Offline. DONE!
You now can play your game in peace.
