Grr - Actually the statistics say it is even higher than that!! As at 16th May, 2010:

Windows XP......63.41%
Windows Vista...15.60%
Windows 7.......11.68%
Mac OS X 10.6...2.29%
Mac OS X 10.5...2.13%
Linux.............1.05%

Those are very impressive figures ozbloke. Maybe it time once again for XP fans so show their true colours and cheer.

Sources (in the know) say that Vista will start dying in 2012 and be put to rest by 2017 (depending on which version you have).

Even Windows 7 is slated for termination starting in 2014, so just maybe, XP might out live 'em all (wishful thinking), Mindblower!

The majority of US businesses are still running XP. Eventually they'll have to upgrade, but until they can no longer buy XP (and with VLM agreements, that may never happen) they will stick with XP.

Yes, and its only for XP SP2 & lots of have changed to SP3 now.
XP still have some times to go.
My personal opinion, I prefer XP than the others (Vista /Win7 I got both of these too...).
Anyway, nobody can oppose the trends especially for consumer products.
