I just finished deleting all the "$UNinstall..." folders (150Mb worth). However further down in my (WIN XP Pro) Windows folder, I see close to 40 "KB******.log" files. Can these also be deleted?
Thanks,
Fred

Hi Fred - The short answer is yes, it is safe to delete those log files. My understanding is they are created as historical data each time an update is applied. Deleting them will disallow any removal/uninstall of the associated updates but provided the system is operating okay (the updates have not caused any problems) that should not be a consideration.

cheers.....JIM
