I cannot print a .txt file from Notepad.

Can someone please help?

Hi David,

Please provide more info: symptoms and conditions of the problem you experience, if you made any changes to your system shortly before this problem started, error messages you may get (check Event Log), what printers you have installed, if they work with other programs, if you have tried to reinstall them/ update drivers.

Hi David- Are you still running XP?

What is the brand name and model of your printer?

Is this just specific to Notepad, Is everything else printing okay....documents, emails, etc.??

Are you getting any error message or is nothing happening at all?

Have you tried printing using both File>Print and Ctrl + P keys?

When you try to print does the

Sorry for the trouble. It was caused by a bad inkjet cartridge.

Is it a Brother printer by any chance??

BTW: How are you going with the proposed Windows 7 installation....is that on hold for the time being??

No, it's an HP deskjet 932C.

It's on hold till I get a new PC.
