Can't install Quick time? How fortunate!
Just this morning I got my "Bob Rankin's" 'AskBob' newsletter and it was all about Quick Time having vulnerabilities in it and that Apple has NO intention of fixing them.
In fact they are not supporting Quick Time any more at all.
So everyone is safer if they just Uninstall it.
For years now, I've not installed any of the proprietary 'players or viewers'.
My software Guru put me onto "K-Lite Codec Pack" and I've never had to install any special players since then. It just plays everything.
It is however, important to keep that codec pack up to date. But that's pretty easy.
Cheers Mates!

Is that Bob Rankin copying us again? https://davescomputertips.com/why-you-should-uninstall-quicktime-asap/
🙂 🙂 🙂
Sorry! I didn't see that, and evidently the OP didn't either.
We can't all subscribe to every blog or newsletter out there. There aren't enough hours in the day to read all that, and at 72 I don't read as fast as I used to.
I knew nothing about "Daves Computer Tips" till just recently, when a good IT friend of mine suggested it. (and, I'm glad he did) As we live, we learn, hopefully anyway.
Cheers Mate!
