VLC media player 3.1.1.0 officially ruined. What other alternatives are there?

Windows store updated the VLC app to 3.1.1.0.

The old version was basic, and highly reliable and easy to use.

The new version is buggy, crashes all the time, can't autorotate in all planes and is generally terrible all around.http://tradevenue.se/

Is there another media player that is easy to use via touch interface on the Windows store?

Or is there any way to get the old version back on?
