Hello, I just upgraded to windows 8.1 from windows 8 and wanted to revert back due to so many bugs. I wanted to know if creating a custom refresh image before operating a PC refresh will completely bring me back to 8 without all these bugs.

A refresh image will take you back to whatever operating system was used to create it. That is, if a refresh image is created in Windows 8.1 and you then perform a refresh, you will still be in Windows 8.1.

If you created a refresh image while running Windows 8 and then upgraded to Windows 8.1, provided you haven't created another refresh image while in Windows 8.1, you could then use that original refresh image to revert back to Windows 8.

Hope that makes sense,
Jim
