I can lock&sign out of my Pc but the PC will remain on. the lock screen isn't appearing after a turn off since I disabled it a year or so ago... I can't remember how, but now I need to put it back on and Google search just gives vague ideas on how to turn it off..not on Sarkari Result Pnr Status Showbox

It would help to know what version of Windows you are running. I am running W10 version 1809 and the lock screen can be toggled on and off with the desktop personalize tab. Windows 8 and 8.1 require a different approach.

Hello stevenshaw. In 8.1 go to the Control Panel, select Power Options and then on the left side you will notice Require a password. Is this what you are looking for, Mindblower!
