I am using Windows Server 2008 R2 and VMware workstation 10.
My processor is Intel Core 2 Duo 2.00 Ghz and its not supporting VT.
I am trying to install Ubuntu 13.04 (X64 bit) in Vmware workstation and it shows me this error,"This virtual machine is configured for 64-bit guest operating systems. However, 64-bit operation is not possible.
This host does not support Intel VT-x."
Windows XP working fine in the virtual machine but i tried Ubuntu, Open suse, Fedora, windows 7, but all shows above errore.
Then my question is, in this situation can i use x86 os in Virtual Machine and how?
is there any settings or any?
Please..
Regards,
Krunal
Krunal,
This is usually when VT is disabled in the BIOS or your CPU doesn't support VT-x. Have a look at this Intel page to see if your CPU is even capable - http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/cs-030729.htm#1.
